Seeking an experienced LabVantage LIMS professional (v8 or higher) to configure, customize, and support laboratory information management systems in regulated laboratory environments.

 

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in LabVantage architecture, instrument integrations, ELN, and system validation.

 

Solid understanding of pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing laboratory processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Configure, customize, and support LabVantage LIMS (version 8 or higher) to meet business and laboratory requirements.

 

Develop and maintain LabVantage workflows, specifications, ELN configurations, and interfaces.

 

Design, build, and support lab instrument integrations and third-party system interfaces.

 

Perform data migration, test scripting, and system validation activities following CSV / SDLC methodologies.

 

Participate in LIMS upgrades, patches, and regression testing.

 

Troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user support and training.

 

Collaborate with business users, QA, and IT teams to ensure system alignment.

 

Ensure ongoing compliance with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and other applicable regulatory standards.

 

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

 

Hands-on experience with LabVantage LIMS version 8 or higher.

 

Strong knowledge of LabVantage architecture, modules, and administrative tools.

 

Experience with lab instrument integration, ELN, and external system interfaces.

 

Proficiency in Java, JSP, SQL, and JavaScript.

 

Experience in configuring and customizing LabVantage workflows and specifications.

 

Practical experience with CSV / SDLC validation, test scripting, and documentation.

 

Solid understanding of GxP environments and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.

 

Familiarity with laboratory processes in pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing environments.

 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.

 

Good-to-Have Skills

 

Experience with LabVantage ELN Advanced modules.

 

Knowledge of web services (REST / SOAP) and middleware for integrations.

 

Exposure to data integrity (ALCOA+) principles.

 

Experience supporting global LIMS implementations.

 

Familiarity with cloud-based or hybrid LIMS environments.

 

Prior experience in regulated audits or inspections (FDA, MHRA, EMA).

 

Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
